  I've been to several places to have my eyes checked since moving here 10 years ago; Rummel, Wal-Mart, Nationwide and Costco and now Kokopelli. The reason I changed from Rummel to Kokopelli was due to insurance (Kokopelli is the only place that takes my insurance). First trip was almost two hours (including choosing frames). The glasses weren't right when I went to pick them up about 10 days later and they looked at me like I was trying to be difficult...like there was no way there could be something wrong with the prescription because it was so close to my old glasses. Obviously SOMETHING was off because they were distorted. Had to schedule a re-check. Got a new prescription but now have to wait for the Optician to 'research' my options for new lenses and 'get back to me', then wait 10 more days for the glasses and HOPE they're right this time. I don't think I'll be going back after this is all over and done with. Update: Optician never called, went ahead and ordered glasses without consulting me regarding lens options. Glasses took 2.5 weeks to arrive. Picking them up today, a month after my original appointment.

  Rough looking facility & they didn't wipe down the refractor in between clients. Initial consult was really disorganized and rushed, the staff is kind of rude as well. Otherwise, they are on time and the visits are pretty quick.
