  I visited a friend that was in the ICU on the 8th of August. He had been there for a few days already. The front entrance staff were very helpful. Instead of just telling us how to get to his room they walked me and my friend all the way to his door. The nurses on the ICU Ward were very friendly and told us everything they were allowed to about his condition. He was asleep when we first arrived and we just sat in his room waiting for him to wake up. His doctor came in and said he would need to wake him up for his exam. We waited outside his room until the doctor was finished. When we went back in my friend told me about his condition and everyone's concerns for him. He also said that his time in the hospital he had been treated great and with much respect. Of course, he was ready to go home also. During our visit the staff treated us and my friend with much concern and were very accomodating and friendly. Wonderful experience at YRMC East Campus.

  I have been here for 3 hours and I'm still in the waiting room. This is by far the longest I've ever been in the waiting room. As for the rest, every time I come here the nurses are rude and the staff has treated me like I was dirt! I wish we had another hospital in this town!

  This hospital never seems to find what's wrong with people. Instead they offer you their opinion on what "might" be wrong and then offer solutions that never work cause they don't actually know what the problem is in the first place. Not to mention the fact that you sit there and wait for 2-3 hours just to hear some nonsense.
